Lloyd A. Poindexter, President - Principal Mr. Poindexter returned the VTN WEST office to private ownership in 1991 when he successfully achieved a management acquisition of VTN WEST, INC. from its parent, publicly held VTN Corporation. President of VTN WEST, INC. since 1987, Mr. Poindexter is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions as well as the planning, survey and engineering staffs. He chairs VTN's Executive Committee, which is responsible for managing the project scheduling and production operations in the office. Mr. Poindexter's commitment to our clients is to be aware of their project requirements and to commit to established schedules and budgets. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, he actively serves as a Project Manager for selected projects. Mr. Poindexter has participated in projects ranging from single residential units to master plans for over 4,000 hillside residential units, within a geographical area from the coastal Santa Monica Mountains through the Valleys of Simi, San Fernando, and Santa Clarita to the southern foothills and deserts of the Antelope Valley and westward to the Oxnard plain in Ventura County. Mr. Poindexter’s experience also includes seven years with the Los Angeles County Flood Control District and six years in the private land development field as project engineer/manager. At the County his experience ranged from writing EIR's to master planning of flood plains to management of the County's contract with FEMA to perform flood insurance studies for all of Los Angeles County. In the private field, he performed engineering feasibility studies, design analyses of flood hazard mitigation alternatives and coordinated project designs with clients and public agencies. William D. Egerdahl, Principal and Senior Vice President Mr. Egerdahl has been an owner of VTN WEST, INC. since he participated in the management acquisition of the company from its parent corporation in 1991. He has served as an engineering Project Manager of VTN WEST, INC. since 1987 and is a member of VTN’s Executive Committee. He joined the firm in 1986 as a designer with responsibilities in design of streets, sewer, storm drain and water systems. He was promoted to Project Engineer in April of 1987 and to Vice-President/ Project Manager in December 1987. Mr. Egerdahl’s responsibilities include final design responsibility, client/agency/consultant coordination and all project budget and schedule related matters. Since 2002 Mr. Egerdahl has been responsible for coordinating all of VTN’s Project Managers activities. Mr. Egerdahl's previous experience includes eight years as a Civil Engineer with a large petrochemical engineering firm. His field experience includes two years as a construction coordinator for C.F. Braun Construction Division at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery at Van Nuys, California. Licenses, Education and Affiliations

William S. Kish, Principal and Senior Vice President-Chief of Survey Mr. Kish has been an owner of VTN WEST, INC. since he participated in the management acquisition of the company from its parent corporation in 1991 and is a member of VTN West's Executive Committee. He was promoted to VTN West’s Chief of Survey in 1982. Mr. Kish has a solid background in surveying and mapping of diverse projects including residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, highways, bridges, dams and tunnels. He has extensive experience in boundary research and analysis, preparation of legal descriptions, and processing maps in accordance with the Subdivision Map Act. His current responsibilities include: supervising a staff of up to nine surveyors and certified party chiefs; scheduling all survey work; preparing client proposals and budgets for the Survey Department. Mark C. Hsieh, PH.D., P.E., Principal, Sr. Vice President, Director of Engineering Dr. Hsieh joined VTN West, Inc. in 1991 as a hydrologist/designer with responsibilities in design of street, sewer, storm drain and water systems. He was promoted to Project Engineer in July of 1993, and then to Director of Engineering in November of 1994. In February of 2003, he was promoted to a Director and Vice President of Engineering. In October of 2004, Dr. Hsieh was elected a Principal of VTN West, Inc. and will share in maintaining the company’s current and future goals and development. As the Director of Engineering his responsibilities encompass developing and maintaining programs which allow VTN West to provide up-to-date engineering knowledge practices to the solution of client problems. He establishes and maintains procedures to accomplish exemplary quality control and to assure that VTN West’s Engineering Department is staffed with competent experienced personnel. Dr. Hsieh was involved in the engineering and planning design of two championship golf courses in the City of Simi Valley, Dos Vientos Ranch in the City of Thousand Oaks, and Deukmejian Wilderness Park in the City of Glendale. His responsibilities included final design of street, sewer, storm drain, and water, maintaining the project schedule and related matters. His expertise is in civil engineering improvement plan design and hydrology and hydraulics analysis. He has published six papers in various professional Journals and nine research reports in the area of Water Resources. Dr. Hsieh’s previous experience includes three years as a Hydrologist / Design engineer with a private civil engineering firm. He was responsible for site development, including preparing storm drain, sewer, water, and fine grading (plot) plans, and providing preliminary and final hydrology and hydraulics reports. Dr. Hsieh also worked as a Teaching Assistant of Hydrology and Hydraulics courses during a four year period at Purdue University. George Colvin, PE, Principal and Senior Project Manager Mr. Colvin has 38 years of experience working in the land development field. He started his career on the public side where he worked for LA Co.Road Department in the subdivision section and the inspection division and transferred to the private side in 1975. His experience has varied from entitlement work to permit work. He has been involved in retail, commercial, office, industrial, and residential projects. He has worked on high rise condominium projects, shopping centers, single family, apartment and condominium projects as well as high rise office buildings. The agencies he’s worked with started with the city of LA and County of LA and have expanded to include a significant number of the jurisdictions in the Southern California area. His experience includes such projects as Playa Vista and Bunker Hill Towers to North Orange County Community College District, El Camino College, Kaiser Hospital Woodland Hills, 20th Century Fox Tower and Valencia Marketplace. Mr. Colvin prides himself in developing relationships with city and county staff in order to better effectuate unique project solutions. His strengths include coordination of complex projects, involving multiple agencies and multiple co-consultants. He is knowledgeable of local standards and keeps abreast of changes that affect his clients. He has been with VTN approximately three years and has progressed from a Project Manager to Executive VP. Prior to joining VTN, Mr. Colvin also worked as a project manager and regional manager for Psomas. He spent approximately 20 years with this organization before rejoining VTN.
